We set out on a day of education and exercise to Griffith Park. Thankfully we got dropped at the observatory rather than the bottom of the hill, because it was steep and a particularly hot day, around 97 in the local lingo.
We learnt all about earth, space and the solar system. We probably had the most fun with the thermal camera and the interactive periodic table.
We took the walking path down the hill, noticing the strained look on the people heading up the hill.
We then went back to Universal Studios, to cool off on the Jurassic Park ride, let the kids get their final fix of roller coasters and get wet again at the water world show (the kids sat in the front row and got soaked from JetSki spray).
