We started today with a walk down fifth avenue to find Essendon’s Jobe Watson’s cafe, Hole in the Wall. We found it inside a building and it was tiny, standing room only in there. But it was probably the best coffee we have had in the US.
Then past the hotel we stayed last time and breakfast at a bakery in the sun next door on fifth avenue.
The boy’s hair was starting to look a bit manic, so we got him a NY barber makeover. Much better!
A bit of shopping, through the American Girl store and then to Empire State Building.
The crowd wasnt too bad and we were up quick. The kids didn’t seem too freaked out by the height (the boy was climbing the rail for a better look). It is remarkable how vast New York City is and the number and scale of the buildings.
